Lit by Jayden, Harj & Sukhbir 23rd December 2022
Today marks one year for when I actually got to see you, hug you and kiss you albeit via mask due to Covid risks. I held back my tears when I initially saw you. Despite you being paralyzed the strength, your faith and courage you had to keep going was unbelievable based on what the docs an specialists had said, you surpassed their 2 -3 months max to live. When we saw your smile and face light up, made us feel we made the right decision to risk traveling. Just being with you confirmed it was enough to know that moving mountains to get home and see you was worth it. I didn't want to leave your site and I just wanted to take care of you, since you always have taken care of all of us, the extended families, our friends and the community. Mum you are very much missed and both you & Dad will always be with me. I pray that you both continue to Rest In Peace. There isn't a day that goes by where I am not thinking of you, I cherish the time we had together and I'm so thankful I got to make you laugh and fulfill all your wishes. We will keep yours and Dad's legacy going. Love you always and forever; Sukhbir, Harj and Jayden
